Miranda Matney, APRN, CNM, was born in Royal Oak, MI. When she was a child, her family relocated to a small town in northwest Tennessee. Miranda graduated from Jackson State Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Nursing in 2012.

She spent the first 5 years of her nursing career in the local community hospital working on a medical/surgical unit. After the birth of her daughter in 2016, she changed paths and entered the world of labor and delivery nursing. She graduated in 2022 from Frontier Nursing University with a Masters of Science in Nursing and became a board-certified Nurse Midwife.

Miranda is married to her high school sweetheart and they have a beautiful 6-year-old daughter, Piper. In her time off, Miranda enjoys being outdoors at the farm, planting in the garden, and spending time with her family and animals.
